Jessica Pérez es ilustradora y diseñadora gráfica guatemalteca. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido en Guatemala, España, Chile y Japón; ha ilustrado diversos libros infantiles como también ha trabajado ilustraciones en diferentes ámbitos y superficies. Lleva varios años impartiendo cátedras universitarias enfocadas en ilustración y diseño.
Ha obtenido premios y reconocimientos en diversas convocatorias, siendo una de las más relevantes la obtención del 1er lugar en la convocatoria Iberoamericana "Primebook" en 2014 realizada por la Universidad Pontificia de Chile y Skills Up Japón, por escribir e ilustrar el libro infantil "Toti y la Luna". El cual se destacó por fomentar el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional en los niños y reforzar la idea de que todos somos capaces de lograr nuestros sueños aunque las circunstancias alrededor sean adversas.
El libro "Toti y la Luna" fue seleccionado en noviembre 2016 como uno de los cuatro finalistas entre más de 1,200 propuestas de América Latina y el Caribe en la categoría "Mejor publicación Infantil" de los PREMIOS ALAS BID, el ganador será anunciado en noviembre 2017.
