Más allá, el Bosque Salvaje, peligroso pero bello y nada ajeno a los habitantes de la Orilla del Río, y, aún más lejos, el Ancho Mundo, al que es mejor no asomarse. Grahame nos cuenta, con gracia y gran lirismo, las idas y vueltas de Topo, Ratón y Tejón, las locuras de Sapo y los avatares aventureros pero cotidianos que todos ellos corren.
