Es el primer día de colegio de Splat y está preocupado. ¿Qué pasa si no hace ningún nuevo amigo? Por eso, Splat decide llevarse a su pequeña mascota con él, el ratón Seymour, y lo esconde en su tartera del almuerzo. La profesora, la Srta. Wimpydimple, presenta a Splat a la clase y enseguida comienza a aprender una importante lección sobre los gatos.
