How have Christians, a people who are called by God to be the most loving, caring, understanding, and joyous people in the world, allowed themselves to be perceived as the exact opposite? How can we change that? The Christian church has become a stench in the nostrils of most of the civilized world. This unlikeable state was caused by the actions of an uninformed and disconnected tribe. Though not intentional, this group has formed a warped concept of God, His people, and their leaders in the minds of those outside of the tribe. Craveable is an all-out call and guide to return to the primacy and priority that caused the Christian church to win the world in the first century. This new call is to incorporate sound biblical strategy in our current cultural context. In other words, people need to be chasing and hiding in the bushes to learn where Jesus is going to be next! If God s church and His people were to act like Jesus, loving the unlovable, accepting all the unacceptable and demonstrating a life of faith and joy, we would be successful in turning our perception from being...unlikeable to actually being CRAVEABLE!
